Why Is My Branch Basics Concentrate A Different Color? + FAQs
Worried about the color of your new bottle of Branch Basics Concentrate? Don’t be!
Since our products are made with natural, plant-derived ingredients, color may vary slightly from batch to batch and with age.
Let's unpack this more and cover some more Branch Basics Concentrate FAQs.
Why Branch Basics Concentrate May Vary In Color
Products made from plant-derived ingredients, like Branch Basics Concentrate, may vary slightly in color due to natural ingredient variations.
For example, one of our star ingredients, Organic Chamomile Extract (from chamomile flowers), is especially influenced by nature.
Its color can shift depending on the crop, soil, and growing conditions, which is why some batches appear very pale while others have a deeper amber hue.
Chamomile also naturally darkens over time, so the color of your Concentrate may deepen as it sits. Again, this is totally normal.
In contrast, synthetic chemical cleaners rely on lab-created ingredients, which always have the same, uniform color.
The good news is that this doesn’t affect the product's quality or performance. It also proves you’re getting something plant-derived and natural versus something made in a lab from petroleum or other synthetics.
What Color Should My Concentrate Be?
Branch Basics Concentrate can range from pale yellow to deep amber, all of which are normal and totally safe to use.
As mentioned previously, the color may also change as the product ages.
