Comparing Branch Basics Laundry Detergent Vs. Laundry Dilution: What’s The Difference?

Finding a truly low-tox, human-safe, biodegradable, fragrance-free, plant-and mineral-based laundry detergent that actually works can be a feat!

Then you discover Branch Basics, and you’re faced with a new dilemma: which laundry detergent should you choose?

Branch Basics Laundry, our classic liquid detergent made using our signature Concentrate plus water; or our new waterless Branch Basics Laundry Detergent?

Whether you’re new to Branch Basics (welcome!) or a long-time customer (welcome back!), this article will help you understand the differences between our new Laundry Detergent and classic Laundry dilution so you can choose the best fit for you.

Why Two Laundry Detergents?

Up until very recently, we only offered one laundry detergent: Branch Basics Laundry, which is made by combining Branch Basics Concentrate with water—just like all our other cleaning products.

Then late last year, we introduced Branch Basics Laundry Detergent, a waterless formula that cleans, brightens, whitens, and deodorizes clothing with just one small scoop.

Why the two options?

Although Branch Basics Laundry dilution has surpassed expectations, we wanted to meet some additional customer needs:

  1. To create a waterless, powdered formula that excelled in hard water conditions.
  2. We had feedback from customers that they weren’t using Branch Basics Laundry dilution because they wanted their Concentrate to last longer for making more All-Purpose, Bathroom, Streak-Free, and Foaming Wash.
  3. We wanted to create an affordable, stand-alone product so people could experience Branch Basics cleaning magic, before investing in a Starter Kit.

Creating a separate laundry detergent fulfilled all these needs, and we’ve been receiving rave reviews!

Does this mean we’re phasing out our Laundry dilution? Heck no! This product is foundational to our all-in-one cleaning system, works amazingly, and isn’t going anywhere.

The new Laundry Detergent simply offers another powerful and pure product to help you create a healthier home, and get the laundry done too.

Ingredients NOT Contained In Branch Basics Laundry Detergent OR Laundry Dilution

The laundry room is often the most toxic room in the house!

This is why switching to human-safe, low-tox, naturally fragrance-free laundry products is essential to creating a healthier home.

It’s also why we formulated Branch Basics Laundry Detergent and Laundry dilution to be free from harmful chemicals, including:

Bottom line: no matter which Branch Basics laundry product you choose, you can rest assured it is free from these common, and harmful, laundry chemicals.

Next, we’ll explore the features and benefits of each product so you can choose the best option for your household.
