Finding rentals with healthy air quality can be a challenge. And after you toss the toxins in your home, staying in places with strong scents from candles, laundry detergent, cleaning products, etc. isn’t easy either. Especially if asthma symptoms, allergies, headaches, and more ensue.  

That’s why we’ve started a list of clean rentals with features like fragrance-free, organic bedding, better-for-you cleaning products, air purifiers, and water filters!

The Safe Way To Clean Your Rental 

We know booking a fragrance-free rental is not always an option, so here are some helpful tips:

  • Pack your Branch Basics’ travel kit  
  • If you are sensitive to certain detergents, it’s a good idea to pack your own towels and pillowcase
  • Inside the rental, gather all fragrance and conventional cleaning products (make sure to take before pictures so you know where they belong!) and put the products outside the rental
  • Open windows to air out any fragrance and VOCs
  • For an extra clean before settling, spray down areas with All-Purpose and wipe clean with a cloth
