Our candle is made of 100% pure beeswax with an organic cotton wick.
Note: Natural beeswax candles may vary slightly in color, a testament to their pure, unprocessed nature. The beeswax's hue can differ based on the bees' pollen sources, making each candle unique. Beeswax candles are made to burn safer, cleaner, and longer. However, they do require some extra TLC! Follow these simple tips for a healthy and long-lasting candle.
- Ensure the wick is standing straight/upright before each burn.
- Before each burn, trim the wick to ~¼”.
- Let each burn last at least 3 ½ hours (the longer, the better!).
- Do not blow out the candle but instead use a metal tool (such as a candle snuffer or utensil) to push the lit wick into the wax pool.
- After extinguishing, return the wick upright.
Note: Due to the nature of beeswax, which is denser and harder to melt, the candle may not always burn its full width right away. It can take longer for the wax to warm and reach the edges of the candle, particularly with shorter burn times. However, the longer you let your beeswax candle burn, the more optimal the burn width becomes, increasing the likelihood of it reaching edge to edge. It’s also normal for the wax not to melt perfectly evenly, leaving an uneven surface, but this is a natural characteristic of pure beeswax.

Cleans The Air
Beeswax is the only wax that purifies the air by producing negative ions that drop dust, pollen, mold and other allergens to the ground. Negative ions have been shown to increase levels of serotonin, which uplifts mood, minimizes stress and boosts energy.

FAQs
Beeswax burns differently than any other wax, and changes composition depending on what the bees are pollinating from. No two candles will burn the same. They may burn unevenly, but that’s the nature of beeswax. If you follow our care instructions you’ll enjoy the full length of the candle!
1. Do not trim the wick before the first burn. It is pre-cut at the perfect length. However, please make sure it is straight/upright before lighting it.
2. Before the second burn, and every time after that, trim the wick to ¼”.
3. Burn the candle for at least 3½ hours each time. Beeswax burns at a very high temperature so it will be very hot in the center and take a while for the heat of the wick to burn a larger perimeter. This will help with an even burn over time.
4. Do not blow out the candle to extinguish it. Instead use a metal tool to push the lit wick into the wax pool. This immediately extinguishes embers, and prevents smoke and soot from getting into the air.
5. After extinguishing the candle, return the wick upright.
6. Once the candle has cooled, place the lid on the candle.

The candle is fragrance-free, but because it is made from 100% Beeswax, honey and scents from bee pollination will exist. Scents may vary based on what the bees used to pollinate.
Burn times vary due to the nature of Beeswax. The average burn time of the candle is 40 hours. This is a typical burn time for candles made out of Beeswax.
