  1. Hi Carly!
Thanks for the tips. When you mentioned washing the dog bowls with branch basics it made me wonder why there isn’t a container in the starter pack for dish soap? I use branch basics for everything except our dish soap and since there wasn’t a container for it I figured you didn’t recommend that. Could I use it to wash my dishes too? I would love a container for that! Thank you!

    1. Hi Mandee! Great question! We suggest using the All-Purpose spray or Foaming wash for dishes–they both work fantastically! I personally love using the All-Purpose spray for all of my dishes (I don’t currently have a dishwasher!) and it works so well at cutting grease and cleaning plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc! We have some more info on using BB for dishes in our User Guide:

  2. Thanks for your articles on dog care! Piggybacking off of dog bathing/cleaning dog stuff, do you have any suggestions for non-toxic dog beds? I’m having trouble finding something that aligns with my values – organic material, not treated with chemicals to make fabric resist stains, etc. (I’ve got a 9.5 lb Chihuahua and a golden retriever puppy, so I’m in the market for at least a large one, if not a large and small one.) Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

    1. Hi Erica! Great question! We love as an option and even an organic pillow if you have either of them in a crate! Avocado Mattress has some great pillow options. Also, you can search for organic beds on Etsy. You just want to ensure they are using only organic cotton without foam cushions with flame retardants which affect the reproductive, nervous, immune, and endocrine systems. Hoping this is helpful!

  3. And you can clean your dog with it too?! Will it strip off the flea coating created by Seresto flea collars? I was told by a vet tech that works for the company to only use shampoos made for dogs that say “safe to use with topical flea treatments”.

  4. Thank you so much for this timely post! On occasion our cat poops on the our bed and sometimes the smell goes through to the mattress. Can any of the BB cleaners be used on the mattress? (Unfortunately, this just happened today.)

    1. Hi Bethany! So sorry that happened today! Try this process: Spray and wipe with Bathroom cleaner and then put Oxygen Boost, baking soda, and spray hydrogen peroxide on it and let it sit. Then vacuum it up once the powders dried and the odor was gone. You may have to repeat the process if the smell isn’t going away! Let us know 🙂

  5. How would you suggest treating laundry that has been peed on (dog)? If we ( and by we, I mean my husband) leave towels lying on the floor after a shower, our elderly dog immediately pees on it. I cannot for the life of me get the smell out!

    1. Hello Courtney.

Kelly says any time she’s washed anything with urine or poop or throw up, she uses vinegar and baking soda (or borax) and washes in hot water and Branch Basics and she’s able to get the smell out. I hope this helps! Best of luck. Give you dog a hug from us! 🙂
